Scope of Services
The centres offer family medicine care for the treatment of acute and chronic diseases as well as preventive services. Common conditions such as colds, high blood pressure, diabetes and asthma are treated in the centres. Preventive services are also offered, including childhood vaccinations, prenatal care for pregnant women, routine medical screenings and birth control planning. Another focus area is patient education with one-to-one coaching, group lectures and literature being used to promote healthy behaviour.
The laboratory offers simple services like same-day blood tests. Simple radiological procedures such as X-rays and ultrasounds are also available and our pharmacies dispense medication to patients. Dental services are available at the Oud Al Touba Centre, however patients requiring orthodontic or dental surgical procedures will be referred to a more specialised dental centre.
Al Masoudi Primary Healthcare Centre is now also offering emergency services on Friday and Saturday, from 8.00 am to 11.00 pm
